Campaign Intern

Job Summary

As the Achille for Congress campaign kicks off, we are actively building a team of interns to assist with various projects and activities. Activities range from canvassing and petition-collection at events, to mission critical opportunities such as helping develop and expand the Fire Caucus message of the Republican Party.

Responsibilities and Duties

Interns will be expected to be available for phone calls in the late afternoon/early evening, and some in-person availability on weekends. This is a results oriented position, and applicants will have a chance to work with new apps and social media tools to help engage and inform voters.

***All intern positions are on an UNPAID, volunteer basis, but senior staff will work directly with interns to provide references and comprehensive documentation for employers and college applications***

[NOTE: The campaign is decentralized, and for this reason we need motivated and technologically inclined individuals to remotely collaborate and conquer.]

Qualifications and Skills

No experience is required, just enthusiasm and a good attitude. Well, an interest in politics would probably be helpful, too...

Of course, any experience you can bring to the team will be appreciated, and we will work with you to help you utilize and expand your current skills.

We can especially use help from folks who have the following skills/experience/and demographics

  • Current resident of New York, preferred
  • Event planning/coordinating
  • Campaign Petition collection
  • Social Media-based marketing
  • Graphic design
  • Fundraising

Interns can also volunteer to assist by helping drive to/from events.
